Adventurers should not skip the Cardamom Mountains


The Central Cardamom Mountains National Park in Koh Kong, a special potential area for adventure travelers, should be tested. The area about 25 km away from Thmor Bang district has beautiful waterfalls, many kinds of wildlife, including captivated mountain scenery crocodile and Cardamom, including banana wine processing.



The Taipei eco-tourism community controls these geographical sites covering villages of Kandal, Spiral Kork and Trapaing Khar village, Tawei Loeu commune, Thmor Bang district, Koh Kong province. Koh Kong is part of the Central Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia, covering an area of ​​over 400,000 hectares, covering three provinces of Cambodia, Koh Kong, Pursat and Kampong Speu. The park was approved by the Royal Government of Cambodia on May 9, 2016 at the request of the Ministry of Environment.

The establishment of the Central Cardamom National Park has five main purposes:

First. To protect the ecological areas of the region that are set for the benefit of all generations.

Second. Restrictions on the use of biodiversity, natural resources, cultural resources, and functional roles of the region.

Third. Providing a basis for entertainment, viewing, education, scientific research, and belief that all of these activities do not pose a threat to the natural environment and Local culture.

Fourth. Providing natural products and services for sustainable use.

5th. Promoting community and grassroots participation in contributing to the management, protection and preservation of biodiversity and natural resources in the region.
